Project Aspire Grant

Computer Tutor Business and Technical Institute has been awarded Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds to provide career training and/or paid work experience opportunities for individuals that are 17-24 years old (up to their 25th birthday). This wonderful opportunity is available to any person who is able to meet eligibility requirements and lives in Stanislaus County. Anyone who qualifies for the grant will receive training and job placement assistance at no cost!

Classes focus on one of three areas: * Medical Clerk - Includes medical billing skills and medical terminology.* Accounting Clerk - Includes basic bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable and payroll. *Administrative Assistant - Includes Microsoft office programs and business practices. In addition, the school will also assist graduates in finding employment. (Other trainings may be available)

The work experience program is a fantastic opportunity for young adults with little to no work history to gain real-world job experience while earning income. Potential candidates are encouraged to contact the school promptly, as the program will fill quickly.

Courses are offered at the college's campus at 4300 Sisk Road, which is conveniently located next to highway 99 and a Modesto Area Express bus stop. For more information please call the admissions office at (209) 545-5200 or fill out the request info tab to the right of this page.
